How to Install WordPress Using Softaculous

One-Click WordPress Installation

Softaculous makes it incredibly easy to install WordPress on your hosting account.

Installation Steps

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Find Softaculous Apps Installer in the Software section
3. Click on WordPress
4. Click Install Now
5. Configure the installation:

   Choose Domain	Select your domain from the dropdown
   In Directory	Leave empty for root installation
   Site Name	Your website title
   Site Description	A short tagline
   Admin Username	Choose a unique username (NOT "admin")
   Admin Password	Use a strong password
   Admin Email	Your email address

6. Select a theme (optional)
7. Click Install

After Installation

Access your WordPress dashboard at yourdomain.com/wp-admin. We recommend:

• Installing a security plugin (Wordfence or Sucuri)
• Setting up permalinks (Settings → Permalinks → Post name)
• Installing a caching plugin for speed
• Updating all plugins and themes
